MoU on Cooperation in Space Science, Earth Science, Satellite Development, and Geospatial Data Processing – Rwanda

The Rwanda Utilities Regulatory Authority (RURA), the Space Edge Lab, and the Intelligent Space System Laboratory and Center for Spatial Information Science, The University of Tokyo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the fields of information and communication technology to promote the Space Inclusion initiative in line with the Smart Africa Alliance goals for creating a single digital market. This includes our roles as contributors to the enhancement of big data in Africa, the capacity building of Rwandan engineers in big data processing and analysis, and work towards the establishment of a CDR analytics center to promote geospatial technology for SDGs.
